Youre thinking after game results, and I agree. But you never know that until you play the game. The selection process is the issue. And the BCS always seems to leave out a team which feels unfair. Still happens, but now the teams left out are further down, which makes the playoffs a better system in my opinion.

Just last year, we had LSU, OSU, and Clemson at 13-0. Who gets left out in the BCS system?

The year before it was Alabama, Clemson, and ND all undefeated.

The year before we had 5 teams with 1 loss.

In all seriousness, no BS. Notre Dame was much more physical tonight than the last time we played them. They looked good up front, and while we didn't necessarily struggle, it never felt like a blowout either. They need some down field threats and help at CB, but otherwise this is the best ND team that I've seen in a while.

I know we can’t go back to BCS and many of those games were lopsided as well. I’m just tired of watching shitty post season games. Nothing beats regular season college football and I enjoy bowl games but for the most part the playoffs suck.
