lol @people who assume that just because he had a drinking problem it means he "can't handle pressure". Pressure isn't the only reason people become alcoholics.

He had an issue that he likely had for years, but it was easy to hide because, as an assistant, he didn't have to spend a lot of time in the public eye or dealing with boosters, etc.

He had his issue, he apparently sought treatment. He has done fine at Bama. Now he gets another HC position and we'll see how it goes.

Yes but if someone has trouble swimming, you don’t throw them in the middle of the ocean with a 500 anchor tied to them and just assume that will all be good. He hasn’t had an opportunity to show that he can handle the pressures of being a head coach and is going to one of the places that has unrealistically high expectations.

I hope he is over his "issue" that caused it. I like stories of people that overcome their demons. We all have demons of varying degrees so it is always good to overcome them. Kiffen seems to be better and more mature since his days with the Trojans. Maybe Sark will be just as successful.
