The steak and cheese is the best thing Subway offers IMO. Or the BMT or spicy italian.

If I were in a place that offered a really good cheesesteak? I wouldn't go there.

Subway blows. I have no idea how they stay open in this part of the country.

Prepackaged lunch meat, rationed lightly, and overstuffed with salad to hide how bad they're ripping you off.

Around here you can make your own. I usually pass on the lettuce.

The subway stuff is a lot of pre sliced but I think a lot of the next level spots use actual slicers. But I could see them going cheap on veggies rather than chopping them on site for example.
