Thirsty Thursday

No, I'm just egging him on in regards to Daboo's stupid comments about how he rankted OSU # 11 in the country and Clemson got rocked...

I think in reality Fields in like the #3 QB in the league
If he has a good game against Bama, he'll be the second QB taken/top 5-10 pick. Coming into the Clemson game, I think people had enough questions that he could have been the third one taken, but I think moved back into that #2 slot for most people

I don’t get the feeling my company felt it was too expensive to WFH. I just knew there were a few high level executives that had the belief that if you’re not seeing them work in the office they aren’t working. And they’ve been proven quite wrong.

Sorry yeah, add that as well

Lawrence, FIelds/BYU kid (via for the 2nd/3rd pick)

also - that other qb kid coming out of no where from a school I can't remember as well, correct?

At least you're given some form of warning. The can has been kicked down the road one fucking month each time they make an announcement here.
Communication was really not good the first 6 months or so. There was just nothing for communication. Then, they started communicating it out as chunks of months at a time.

Coincidently, this better communication started right before an employee satisfaction survey went out. Imagine that!

I'm thinking I might have to cave and get cable. I have my doubts I'll be able to catch Blue Jackets games this year without it.

I have been in much the same boat. We were told to leave back in March and expected to be back in a month. Then it was end of summer. Then end of calendar year.

Now, it’s sometime this summer. And it looks like it will be only once a week in office and they will stagger which teams come in which days. I’m sure there is some truth to the rumors they are working to get out of such a large building lease too.

Which has all been funny as getting more WFH out of this company in the past was damn hard. Then their hand was forced and they realized we all could do it from home.
When I took the job, the company was pimping this idea that they were going to merge their NYC and NJ offices in Newark, NJ. The folks at corporate HQ didn't quite realize that folks living in NYC aren't necessarily keen on the idea of living in the city and catching a train to NJ every day, though. Not to mention the people who live in the Hudson Valley or Connecticut aren't going to want to catch a second train out of Manhattan to continue getting to work.

They then changed plans and said they were going to expand the office in Cranford, NJ (which had been planned on moving to Newark before), but scrapped that entirely when COVID hit. The office in Cranford is now closed, and the office in NYC will probably be shrunk when the lease runs out sometime this year.

Looks like a shady link. But great for streams and adless

Yea, pea protein...have you tried that shit?

I have. Four Tbs every morning along with 2 Tbs of hemp protein.

shit is fucking groce.

Someone gave me a 2lb tub of it a few years ago and they could fuck right off for that sorcery.
You mean the taste? To me the pea isn't as bad as the hemp. I mix it with a cup and a half of frozen fruit, some peanut butter, water and blend it. It's not good, but I can drink it.
