I'm cool living away from stuff, as long as people aren't in my backyard

My closest neighbor is 1 mile away and he is moving, converting the homestead to farm ground. Only 20 minutes to town.

Stopped at a place along the lake that was a combo ice cream shop/bar/convenience store. Had a drink that had the name Breeze in it and the place had some tiki's on the patio. Thought "Yep, still summer".

First day for the furnace to run this season.

Woke up this morning it was 61 degrees in the house.

Fall is on the way. SO much easier working outside in cooler weather.

More like 20 minutes. But there's a pretty good brewery about 5 minutes from my house.

Close. It's my next-door neighbor's house, as good as a painting job can get.

I'm behind schedule due to my FIL's recent illness and passing.

I still have two relatively minor jobs to do. I'm pushing another into the spring.

I'd like to golf a little this fall.
