It was snowing here from late morning until well into the afternoon.

Don't see that very often. I'd say it averages about once every 3 years we see any snow at all.

Speaking of snow in places where it doesn't snow very often ...

I saw a great video from Madrid. It snowed there for the first time in eons, and the video was of all these people in the streets having a ginormous snowball fight. :)
