Gets worse for me. Also recently discovered my one side of my family is entirely Russian. Despite the last name being stereotypical Irish.

So I'm actually half Italian and a quarter russian

my mom's family is from northern Italy and he Ancestry came back saying French.

I think it has been updated to accurately say northern Italy though...they are always changing what they identify.

I may have to dig into this just for shits and giggles. Hopefully I can talk to my dads kids (my half bros/sisters) without dealing with his crazy ass.

I mean, what else ya gonna do with your time? Could be pretty cool to have dual citizenship.

my issue is I don't know who has info on my dad's mom's family...they kind of don't exist anymore.

I think you can actually reach out to the Italian government and they may be able to pull something up for you.

Just a quick check my last name is pretty unique. Don't think it would be too difficult.

Also, there's a lot different about the day-to-day stuff. College kids have to pretend to care about class, NFL players don't. And there isn't the giant talent disparity between teams that you could see in college.

I think I've dipped twice in my life. One of the times I ended up laying on the bathroom floor of a dive bar with the spins. That shit hits hard.
