I would go with O' Brother with Intolerable Cruelty getting an honorable mention, movie was pretty hilarious.

The Firm is awesome, but I would put it as my #3 Sydney Pollack film behind my #1 Jeremiah Johnson, and my #2 Three Days of the Condor.
Yeah I haven't actually seen the other two so... that may be why I went with that lol

I had a thought O’ Brother would come up. That one didn’t hit with me. I liked it, just not enough to outrank the two I’ve mentioned.

Intolerable Cruelty is one I’ve not seen admittedly, but now I have a movie to check out :thumb:

Intolerable Cruelty is kind of a chick flick, but Clooney is excellent and hilarious... and that is rare for me to say because I think Clooney is one of the most overrated actors of our time. Same with Johnny Depp.

Oh wait....I have seen that one. Just never connected it was the Coens directing. It was very funny, but still doesn’t crack that top two for me.

These guys are a fun discussion on favorites as their movies can range all over the place from comedy to drama.

Yeah I have been meaning to check out A Serious Man, just haven't made time for it yet.

My favorite from them is Miller's Crossing, I seem to be all by my self with that opinion.

Quentin Tarantino

Pulp Fiction

My favorite Tarantino movie would have to be Inglorious Basterds... Pulp Fiction is actually like 3rd or 4th on the list being beat out by Django and maybe Reservoir Dogs.

Akira Kurosawa

Dreams

An extremely visually impressive film. Especially impressive movie under the influence of psychedelics.

Cohen Brothers

Fargo

Michael Mann
