Urban Meyer is telling his friends that he is going to be Jaguars head coach

I don't have to clarify my comments to someone with a fully functioning brain. Go back and reread the original post you quoted where I said he was lucky. Take your time.
Your comments got you in hot water. Now you are trying to save face.

Why would you think a team that went 33-24 the past 5 seasons and 5-6 the previous would have a talent advantage over most teams he faces?

He took that team and made them a national contender in two years.

There are plenty of teams that are firing coaches left and right that have talent advantages over most of the teams they face. Michigan, Texas, FSU, Miami, USC. They continue to struggle.

Will Urban succeed in the NFL? There is no guarantee, but acting like he has no shot and that he just coasted on talent to only lose an average of about 2 games his whole head coaching career is ludicrous
Because There wasn’t one team besides his Utah team in the Mountain West those 2 years that finished With less then 5 losses. He played (and beat) one ranked team those 2 years. Are you under some delusion his teams weren’t more talented there then most they played?

Your second paragraph has nothing to do with this.

Who is saying he has no shot to succeed? I’m saying he’s had a massive talent advantage in most of the games he’s coached these last 3 jobs. An advantage he won’t have with this job. Stop being a ridiculous homer and take it easy going down on his knob. The NFL is a different animal.

Don't forget the massive advantage he had at BG too. They went 19-36 the previous 5 seasons, going 2-9 the prior one before Urban took over. Lucky bastard walks into an easy situation everywhere he goes
Yes let’s ignore Utah, Florida and Ohio State. He had no talent advantage there.......

So Utah just magically upgraded into a more talented team as soon as Urban took over? You just said a team with 5 losses must not be talented while quoting me where I gave you numbers saying Utah was averaging 5 losses (4.8) before Urban got there the previous 5 seasons and had 6 losses the year before he took over

Did you suck Urban's dick?

I never said a team with 5 losses is not talented. I said a team with 2 losses is more talented then a team with 5.

Im not saying he’s not a good coach. But he walked into a lot of good situations (to his credit) and made them better. But he also had a huge talent advantage, specifically at Florida and Ohio state that he could control. He won’t have that in the nfl. That’s why I’ll hold judgement.

Congrats on repeating @ralphiewvu insult in an even less creative way. I tried insulting you earlier but you were literally too dumb to understand it so I'll just move on this time
You certainly didn’t deny it.

He is more than a good coach. He is at the very least in the top 10 to ever coach the college game.

Reserving judgement is fine. I'm not trying to say he is a sure fire winner in the NFL cause that basically doesn't exist, even great NFL coaches need a little luck and good team management around them. I'm arguing against the view that many have that he simply succeeded in college bc of talent and use this as proof he won't succeed in the NFL.

The fact is I got you triggered. Your attempt at insults is laughable.

I didn't want to take it away from you. You seem to enjoy imagining things like that. If you insist, however, fine, I have never sucked Urbans or any other man's for that matter, dick.

I think he is the top 5 of best college football coaches ever.

Im arguing he had a ton of talent, particularly at his last two jobs and that helped him succeed too. I’m looking at it like if he coached Northwestern, is he going to the playoffs or competing for them every year like he did at Ohio State? is he winning NCs like he did at Ohio state and Florida? I’m saying no. He is a great coach who was wise about the jobs he got but his teams (to his credit also) were very talented compared to who the played.

Just calling it as it appears. That doesn’t mean I enjoy it. To each their own

Over/under on how long until Jax wins their 1st superbowl?

Over/under on how many superbowls they win with Meyer as HC?
