TV Series WandaVision

Not bad, not good though either. I like the throwbacks but to me, that is something DC should because their audience skews older.
why do you think the DC audience is older?

why do you think the DC audience is older?
simply because the DC movies have sucked... at least compared to the marvel ones... and movies are what drives in the audiences... I kind of agree that the youth likes Marvel right now more than DC...

I mean, when was the last superman or batman cartoon???

With that said, I do think for little girls, the DC has done better recently... Wonder woman, even with the debacle of 1984 still did great... and there is a cartoon show for them too... not sure what its called but all the DC women are in it...

I think the only other cartoon for DC is teens titan go... but come on that is the teen titans, that is not going to drive any little fans to go to the DC side....

I guess that is just an assumption because the comics always been “darker” and nothing from the DCU has been directed at kids the way Marvel has.

DC has a much better animated record than Marvel, IMO

absolutely... but the animation has not been targeted to kids at all... and when you talk about kids cartoons Marvel has more in the past 10 years than DC... and its more mainstream superheroes too...

I guess, I guess I can’t speak for any other any of the CW shows because I don’t what channel that was so I never cared to watch Flash, Arrow and whatever else in on there. I could be wrong but you don’t think DC skews older than Marvel?

I watched two episodes and I hope it gets better or I'll tune out.

Lots of DC animation is targeted to kids: Teen Titans Go, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Lego Super Heroes, etc.

Superman and Batman cartoons are constantly being released. Since just 2019: Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman: Hush, Batman: Soul of the Dragon, Batman: The Long Halloween, Reign of the Supermen, Superman: Man of Tomorrow, Superman: Red Son.

DC comics aren't darker. Both companies put out titles intended for adult audiences. Marvel's adult titles like Jessica Jones and Punisher Max are filled with rape and torture and every bit as dark as anything DC puts out. Even outside their explicitly-adult lines, Marvel titles like Daredevil and Ghost Rider get just as dark as Batman.

I would say that over the past couple of decades, Marvel has been the more successful company overall to the general public. So, Marvel probably does have a higher number of younger fans than DC does, but only because Marvel probably has an overall higher number of fans of ANY age than DC does. It's not that Marvel skews younger; it's that Marvel is more popular overall among all audiences.

You are only more popular when cater to children on up. Smart business, but irrelevant to my statement. I didn’t say or mean to imply there aren’t dark Marvel Comics. I think you can argue Wolverine is a darker character when you ask people, not hardcore Comic-Con goers. Like I said I may be wrong but IMO Marvel caters more towards children than DC overall does and IMO that is why there isn’t a villain in the entire Marvel Universe that could crack the top 10 of DC villains.

well you have Disney owning Marvel now and Disney knows how to do that sort of thing

I think there are plenty of adults who love them some Marvel though. I would imagine the adults who love Marvel would also love to love DC if DC put out a good product.

they essentially have the same adult market.

So it definitely seems like everyone in Westlake knows to some degree that they are trapped there. It seems like Vision is the one who knows the least. And Wanda is definitely controlling most of it. Now whether its of her own will or not is still up for debate.

Cool detail I've seen mentioned elsewhere. Geraldine likely arrived in Westlake on that "toy" helicopter. It was a SWORD helicopter and she had a SWORD necklace. We saw it as a "toy" because that's what Wanda processed the intrusion to be.

So the rest of the neighbors aren't SWORD? They were pretty quick to rat Geraldine out to Vision like she wasn't one of theirs.

And how do they do the redos when Vision says something and they so back to have him say the "right" thing?

I don't know. But this latest episode has pulled me in now. All it took was that very last part that ill spoke of up above In the spoiler. Aha!! Now we're seeing something Interesting.

The final scene had huge implications, too.

Will watch more.

There is no way it was just going to be some sort of silly sitcom type show. There is going to be implications in the Marvel Universe.

Scarlett Witch is kind of a weird, fringe character, so building her storyline and doing so in a unique way appeals to me. This works.

3rd episode definitely made the outlook more interesting.

Still don’t like it. I’ll stick with it but I’m not going to give it fanboy love when it’s not earning it.

When is it supposed to be over? I think it's something I'd rather binge than wait each week for.
