They still make it. It's with wormwood. You can order it online, although it's technically illegal in the US. I have a couple of buddies who got a bottle.

I tried it in Las Vegas, sitting at the bar at Delmonico Steakhouse. I'd been talking to the bartender for a while, and she and I were likeminded on a lot of things. I asked her how her Sazerac was and she said you can't get a bartending job working for Emeril if you can't make a knock out sazerac, so I ordered one. She asked if I wanted the real absinthe, and of course I did. They had a bottle hiding in a cabinet.

On occasion, I've drank a fifth of bourbon. That's 45%. Pretty sure I could handle 22oz of beer alright.

I've drank plenty, but I'd prefer not being handcuffed to a big ass bottle.

I had mine at a wine show so I doubt it was the wormwood stuff lol
