That makes sense.I think he came back to prove he could, and will now shut it down.
Whatever he chooses to do, hope he enjoys his time. Guy was a damn good quarterback.

It is going to be whoever offers Detroit the best trade package of picks. My guess is it will be SF or Indy, with long shots of it being Denver or Carolina.1-NE.
Bill will be on the phone with the Lions ASAP to try and rape them for Stafford. After Cam, he needs a QB that he can use in his system after Brady bolted for Tampa.
2-Indianapolis.
This is probably #1 if not for NE being desperate for a QB. Great defense, solid running game, just plug in a QB.
3-Washington.
The team with no name needs a QB more than Indy but I'm not sure Stafford would want to go there and I'm sure Detroit will ask Stafford where he wants to go since they are mutually parting ways.
Disagree?
Add your teams and discuss.

2010 was the last time he had a losing record. That makes sense.

There isn’t a QB I’d be excited about tbh.If Stafford does leave with what we assume, who would you want Detroit to go with at #7? And we will say for this example Justin Fields is somehow still OTB.
Swift will be your RB.There isn’t a QB I’d be excited about tbh.
I’d like to see Chicago not tag Trubisky tbh. No issue with him being brought in. Carolina involving Teddy B in a trade for Staff would also be cool with me.
But I assume Tyrod Taylor will be the QB at the start of the season, and some future burnout will be a wasted pick at 7.
It’s hard to wrap my head around just how terrible the Lions are going to be next season. Most likely they will have to replace receivers #1-2-3, the QB, the kicker and the leading rusher. Plus brining back the worst defensive in the league, which has nearly no upside.
There’s a reason a TE coach got the HC job. Lol
They’ve already spoken out about using him as a slot receiver, which I’m cool with.Swift will be your RB.
Bridgewater I get but Tribusky? I know the rest of the roster isn't ready to compete yet but that just seems like a wasted signing, although at this point drafting a QB high probably won't do anything unless he is the real deal, even then it will take years to rebuild this team. There isn’t a QB I’d be excited about tbh.
