I’m Going To Start The Friday Thread Today

good news, murray has finally decided to lay down

bad news, he's decided my lap is the best play to lay and his head resting on my keyboard

Yeah limits the options for sure. You might get a deal but probably not. Unless you go rent a house or something like that and not from an apartment complex.. Though I am assuming you'd want an apartment complex and not worry about doing any upkeep

When I used to travel a lot for work I considered doing the rentals where you basically lived in a house waiting to be sold at a below market rate.

Not sure the pitfalls other than the obvious losing some freedom of space

yeah, they killed the V6 and went with a turbo 4 for pretty much everything now.
more and more auto manufacturers are doing that.

better gas mileage, but more things to break

Looking forward to that when we get the apt around Nashville until we get a house.

When we get the house, we're going to have find somebody to do the upkeep part.
That'll be you buddy

Is that the same thing has "rent to own"?

It's already a fucking computer on wheels. things breaking is to be expected.
oh no doubt there

some of funky gadgets I see, I just wonder how much that'll cost to replace

instead of a shifter, we'll have a dial that raises up from center when you turn car on....how much is that motor when it breaks

Tech and features also date cars much faster, even cars from 2015 you get in, what is this archaic crap?

One of my friends is all about car tech. I just need a radio and hvac

my wifes Audi we don't even use a lot the tech it comes with.

I was perfectly fine using an aux cord to hook up my ipod in 2007

I'm looking at an Outback as a replacement to my wife's current car.
I've liked ours so far. We may change to the Ascent sometime down the line, because the extra seating would be nice for longer trips or if we go up to NH and want to go places with my brother and his girlfriend.

Douche striking against the daily thread again?

Yeah, it would replace our Murano. Both are AWD grocery getters... but the outback has an integrated roof rack.
I saw that some models had stopped doing the built in rails with the bars on top, which is pretty lame. The roof rack is nice for long trips or snowboarding, now.

subaru charges extra for a cd player, what madness is this?
