Stafford to Rams

Yep, he did have a broken back just two seasons ago but some posters here think he isn't injury prone.
One injury doesnt classify someone as "prone" to injury, especially when that player has been relatively healthy his entire career

Matt Stafford has taken a lot of big hits throughout his career, he’s only missed games in one season. Meanwhile Aaron Rodgers has collarbones made of glass. Rodgers was also a pussy sitting behind Favre all those years. Stafford jumped right in from day one

He is still only 26 but the only thing is what if a QB does fall to them at 7...one that seriously has high potential like Justin Fields. I mean I don't blame them for jumping at the offer bc of the 2 1st's and still a young QB. It would be hard to imagine they wouldn't take WIlson or Fields at 7 but like you said...try to build a star studded offense and great defense around him. The Rams did draft well and traded for stars though, will be tough to duplicate. Either way Goff will be on the books for at least the next two years so maybe they test it out for 2 and if it doesn't work they can move on.

I agree. I’d love Fields. I just don’t think he will be there and I don’t love the idea of trading up to get him considering it would probably cost us most of the haul we just got.

He’s tough. He’s not healthy. That’s why he’s tough. Because he plays with a broken back and a busted ankle and a broken thumb etc.

Remember when we needed to win just one of three games to make the playoffs and he hurt his ankle? Lost all three games.

Yeah I think you are right that fields won’t be there. However there is a chance, especially if the jets get Watson, the dolphins aren’t taking a QB if they still have Tua and the falcons figure something out with ryan (ethier a one year deal or getting his replacement before the draft).

I still think Atlanta will take him unfortunately for the lions.

I remember when the Broncos were 8-4 and the Chargers were 4-8, the Chargers made the playoffs and the Broncos didn’t, and Cutler didn’t have an injury excuse

Rodgers sat behind Favre because Brett was still playing at a high level and not because Rodgers was a pussy. That was one of the dumbest comments ever from you. Stick to baseball where you have some knowledge.

Yep, he's been injured a lot.

If the Falcons take a QB, it’ll probably be the BYU kid.

But knowing them, they’ll probably do something stupid like draft a WR in the first and take Kyle Trask in the second(Trask will be trash in the NFL IMO)

He was too scared to tell the old man this was his team now. Sat on his ass too long and his bones got soft. Turned him into the brittle bitch he is

You would know better then I, but Falcons could have their pick of the litter at QB after Lawrence if the jets get Watson. I’d still think they’d take Fields.

I’d be happy with that, and who knows, maybe the new coaching staff and front office will buck the trends.

Yeah no way they consider trading up now but it would be interesting to see...if Wilson or especially Fields falls to 7, what do they decide? Going to be a lot of defensive guys on the board at 7 so that's most likely the plain I would imagine.

When I first heard of the trade, I thought the Lions got the better end of the trade - primarily because of this. Stafford is good, but he has been heavily beaten and could very easily start showing a decline in his game this coming season. I think the Lions sold high here.

That said, the Lions are also still the Lions and will probably still make terrible decisions with those extra high draft picks they just got.

As a rookie, I doubt he'd be in a position to tell Favre to retire. Rodgers is a first-ballot HOFer unlike Stafford so your brittle bitch comment is laughable.

I'm sure the majority of NFL teams would love to have that "brittle bitch" under center.

How many games has that brittle bitch missed due to collarbones alone?

Why would you not take this? You got two 1st's from the Rams that most certainly would be between 24-30 range. Panthers offer #8. So they would have back to back picks and you don't have to take back the Goff contract. I'm sure they would have threw a mid round pick in there too.

I’m guessing the new guy Holmes wanted to help out the Rams and maybe he wanted Goff instead of Chase Daniel who knows.

I’d rather run the triple option than have him. The play doesn’t make up for the douche brittle bitch factor
