Good morning good people. The big game was sort of a bust. KC made the same mistake as GB did when they called timeouts before the half when the Bucs had the ball. Never underestimate Tom Brady. That really ended the game. I had no idea who the half time singer was, and most of the commercials were boring. Congrats to the Bucs. Congrats to Brady.

Another week is here, and I have to get some supplies for the dog. Also need a lot of groceries.

So officially the football season is over. At least the Fall version. Some FCS games coming up in the next couple of months.

Thought for the day: When the teacher said "bring clothes for gym, I thought, who is Jim and why doesn't he bring his own clothes?"

It looks like it's going to happen unless the Colts come over the top...Problem is we're one pick ahead of them, so not sure they will.

Upsetting to say the least...Wonder what coaches will be available next offseason...hopefully somebody good...and a good GM.

I would suggest you worry less about Carson Wentz. I have much experience in falling in love/overestimating sh*tty QB's...and he is one of them. You don't get the Jay Cutler treatment unless you're a never will be...
 
On a positive note "Ginger Montana" has a nice ring to it.

i think the problem is Pace and Nagy know their job is on the line, so they're going to gamble. If I'm going to gamble capital, I'm at least going to try and move up for a rookie QB over wentz, but thats me

although I've been informed the bears are loaded with talent, it's just poor coaching holding them back

If we trade a first round pick and still have the worst QB in the North....which is probable...not possible...probable....Well...There is no measure of that sadness...

All I know is we're gonna trade for what might be the worst QB in the division...So another year of "Bears could be something with that D" sympathy from fans of other teams. I gotta stop wearing my Bears sh*t in public. I'm about to go scorched earth next time I hear that in person.

Maybe Pace can sign another over 30 year old pass rusher :)

You're going through what vikings did after their 2017....Hey, we're young team with a great defense, just need the QB

Then team got not so young, defensive slowly regressed (and was outright awful last year), and the hope for future has gone to we need to rebuild, but Zim/Spielman are still trying to patch it up

I mean, they were bad last season, and COVID boning the salary cap basically accelerated the rebuild.

Four win team with no money to spend to get better, they aren't going anywhere fast next year either. Which is why I was somewhat surprised that they canned Pederson, because they were going to be a messy situation that probably wouldn't attract the best candidates.

Yea I am not sure why the Chiefs called the time out there. Big mistake. Halftime singer was "The Weekend" and if you were drunk you were throwing up when he went into that light show and if you weren't you were given a seizure.
