I went to high school with this guy (well, for one year)
 
Morning folks. Had a fun time meeting up with a couple friends last night. Couldn’t hold my friend’s new baby, but at least got to see her in person.

Stopped to try to get batteries on my way home and the store was out of D’s. Still amazed at the odd things stores are out of...always some random thing.

Good morning good people. Well the big Labor Day 5 days of football (reduced to 3 because of Covid) kicks off tonight. It's the one we've been waiting for: Southern Mississippi vs Southern Alabama. Maybe next week we can have Northern Mississippi vs Northern Alabama? Then the 2 winners play and the champion gets to keep the autographed picture of Adam Sandler for one year.

Hopefully, everyone gets a long weekend and gets 4 days off to quarantine in their house, which is better than 3 days to quarantine, I think?

Got an e-mail from my son with a release form for my father in law's military record. The wife has to sign that. I believe he was involved with 5th Army and the capture of Italy. Who knows; maybe he'll find a picture of him raising the flag over the Leaning Tower of Pizza? Wife says he was part of the liberation of Florence, Italy.

Thought for the day: By learning you will teach; by teaching you will understand. What you will understand is that kiddo's can be mean and the job doesn't pay that much.
 
Got my shockwave therapy for my shoulder this morning. Hurt like hell again, but the therapist said he was able to use a higher setting, which indicates it's working. So a good day so far.

Much better than yesterday where I started it off by falling down when walking out the door.
 
I've become obsessed with Yeti.

Don't own a yeti cooler. Have a different rotomolded cooler.

But I've gotten into a rabbit hole with their Colsters, Cups and Water bottles.
