Power has been out for 15 hours. House is down to 58 degrees

Shitty cold winter storm. Power grid overload. It started out as rolling outages only lasting 30 minutes. That stopped at 5am. Power off since then

:laugh: I almost fell for it, but then thought that dbl lived in Vegas, so I was like - wait a goddamn minnit! Pierre's been saying it's a chilly 60 outside, so wtf? then read the fine print, realized the near-error of my ways and saw that it was Newman the whole time.

You fellers are just gonna hate for saying this. Came home kinda late, was outside doing a pre-bed warm up, and saw some damned tomatoes on my vines. Thought they were all but dead for the year.

There’s a couple mums and a can of IPA four feet under the drift outside my front door.

Don’t remember this much snow on the ground in these parts since the mid 80’s.

It’s -10 outside. Guessing about 11 in my not insulated garage. Beer slushees all around.

I live between Clinton,Ia and Sterling,Il......Right on the I-88 sign....its the lows,not windchill which has been down to neg 30s....

Its been like this for over a week..... :bawling:
