Happy Ash Wednesday

This isn't 100 percent the case for every addict but one defining characteristic I've seen with most of them is being extremely self absorbed. The program kind of feeds that tick by telling them their sobriety is more important than anything.

The addiction is fed by excuses about this or that in their life and woe is me yada yada
no such thing as an addict. it's been pre-determined that i'm going to have a drink tonight, that's not on me.

nor the same feel either.

one is a celebration, the other is getting your sins absolved. fuck out of here with that noise, i'm trying to add new ones to the list.

Been awhile since I actually celebrated fat Tuesday. But that was always in toledo and they looked for any reason to be drunk

The funny thing about output is that it's only really useful when taking HR (effort) and weight into account. Real biking speed is always a power/weight ratio. Just comparing our wattage output isn't that useful because we aren't in the same weight class.
I don't think the purpose is to compare how fast you can ride compare to others. That's not the point of it. I think the power output (or calories, but those should tie into the power) is the best measurement for what Peloton is doing.

i think the best measurement for what the peloton is doing is ones overall sense of being and the friends they met along the way.

I just mean that output needs to be tied to weight, or the comparison isn't fair. Peloton tries to make some speed and distance estimate, but that speed doesn't take into account the weight in the power/weight ratio that translates to actual cycling.
