Wednesday thread for morning guys

Obviously, everybody's situation is different. I just have a thing against interest and non-equity liabilities.

again, you said you "bought" a new car. and again, people negotiate the terms and salespeople like to trick people by switching up the monthly payments without changing the overall price. why woudl i think you'd be part of that group?

Sorry I wasn’t literal enough for you to understand the story.

A normal speaking person who gets a new car usually says either “I got a new car” or “I bought a new car”. Nobody says “I leased a new car.”

SPOILER FOR THE SLOWS: I didn’t really take a shit this morning in the literal sense, either.

I mean, you're driving off the lot with the car... you can still buy the lease out if you like it... it's almost like a lease gives you flexibility...

Flexibility? Like I’m doing yoga? You’re an idiot! Or something.

Reactions: Me
Good morning good people. My doctor friend, who had Covid, was released from the hospital yesterday. He was in the hospital for over a month. It was touch and go for awhile, but he made it. He's hoping to get back to work in April.

It was 81 yesterday. I actually took out the garbage last night at 10PM and wasn't wearing a coat. A week ago it was -2.

I felt bad when I heard about Tiger Woods yesterday. He's had a tough struggle with pain and drugs, and I suspect that might of been the problem.

Thought for the day: Be happy. It drives people crazy.

@Peter Gozintite what Toyota trucks should I look at? Need at least a 5 seater.

Uhhh, does it drive any differently?

I like some of money going to ownership. That's just me. I leased one vehicle in my life and bought it at the end of the lease. There are economic reasons to do it only if you intend to buy at the end. It keeps the initial payment down until you can buy. It is the right decision for some, but not all.

Yeah, cause nobody ever hits your car if you're driving a lease.

*News for robbie, all those trips to the body shop have cost me $0.... Actually, have made about $400

No, bro. Being on a first name basis w the repair shop guy sounds awesome and smart.

Yes. By leasing, you're paying down the depreciation. If you dont like the car, you can walk away without paying for all of it...
