Haven't been on one of those in a hot minute. I took a week off work, went down to visit one of my college buddies, drank from Friday till about Tuesday, woke up Wednesday morning, decided we'd both had enough, and I went home. Stopped to visit my brother, and of course he's at some bar with a couple of pitchers he intended to drink with me, so twist my arm and such.

well, meeting in 5, one more shot to bring up the energy level.

Good morning good people. Having some electrical problems because of the oxygen concentrator that the wife uses. The electrical power keeps tripping and it's starting to get annoying. I can't leave the wife alone for very long because of it.

I'm starting to get bored doing the same thing everyday. I would love to go shopping in a store, but the wife gets hysterical if I leave her for too long.

My cat has completely scratched all of the scabs off of the area he had surgery and putting a bandage on it is out of the question. Looks like another trip to the vet is coming up.

Thought for the day: Why did I just get a bill for February 30th?

When was that? How old were you?

I would never survive it at my age.

Probably like 25 or 26.

I guess the first part of our honeymoon was a mini-bender too, didn't do so much with the morning drinking but was pretty sloshed by late afternoon most of those days, and I was close to 30 then.

I have occasionally gotten tore up at a party every now and then as I've aged, but yeah, one long night of boozing is usually enough for me these days.

I remember drinking until dawn a few times and doing some day drinking when younger, but never for consecutive days.

At least...that I can remember...

anything more than 6 beers creates a complete write off of the next day anymore.
