My brother is going to Switzerland for a few months this summer.

Yeah that does absolutely suck. I did it for a year but it was on a Saturday. Granted I would always work passed 7 am because the B&tch that took the morning shift never showed up on time

One job I worked for a few months after college was 11pm - 7am in a factory that made medical supplies. Living the vampire life was weird.

She's going to visit once or twice. I think it gets broken up as one month there, one week home, 2 months there.

If I can squeeze enough vaca (and find a cheap flight...and covid), I might try to visit for 5 days or something.

I'm guessing my paycut will be extended into next year. Although next year my paycheck will only be divided by 26 instead of 27, so it'll feel like a raise


on plus side, I'll get extra vacation days and next year I should be able to travel and actually use them

there was a bar in superior Wisconsin that opened at 6am, they didn't serve food.

(not counting chips, beef jerky, and maybe frozen pizza, but I don't think they even had frozen pizza)

our stock is up almost 30% over the past year...better get raises.

Yeah, I tried doing a "normal" Saturday watching football with my buddy, and I tapped out and fell asleep around 2PM.

I had another job that wasn't as late, ran from like 3-midnight, that I liked much better. Didn't feel like a weirdo waking up at 9PM and going to sleep around noon.
