At a certain point you have to weigh the opportunity cost for getting more education. The time away from your family, the potential debt vs. earning potential. I would love to get my Phd but I am stuck on the things I mentionedworking at university I trade better benefits, better job security, better work/life balance for lower pay.
Although I'm starting to feel stuck, I think one of the things holding me back is a lack of MBA, most people that are one level up have an MBA or other masters

That would suck.One job I worked for a few months after college was 11pm - 7am in a factory that made medical supplies. Living the vampire life was weird.
