usually you got banned for actual sports talk.

I am sure TJD was borderline a lot of the time, but also because I think Vegas or Fish hated him. But she was able to stir the pot hard over there.

and if you got into it with the Cardinal fans, you are on Fish's list.

right now, there is one person here with the ability to ban people here.

what he bans for and who he bans is totally at his discretion. If he says "I don't like racism, but it's so and so, so I will let it slide" that's up to him.

Same went for S-B.

Right now, there are no absolutes on this forum on what will get you banned.

and it has always been a sliding scale.

Same went for S-B? We had a bunch of Admins and SMods.

I'm assuming the rules are pretty similar to that, but it appears they are even more lax here though because as I said in the Deli thread, there are certain posters who contribute absolutely nothing of value, but are still here.

So take S-B and make it more rebellious, but not quite 4chan?

anyone who got banned at SB still got reviewed by Fish. There is still a hierarchy on who makes that final call.

you don't think SB was pretty "rebellious"? There weren't many rules there.

Uhhhhhh, they weren't "reviewed by fish". Bannings were posted on the Admin board that only Admins/Smods had access to. It was reviewed by all of us.

And yes, there weren't many rules. It took a lot of effort to get banned there...

You do remember we had a report posts function, don't you? When an entire fanbase reports someone over and over we'd have to look at it.
Lose a troll or lose an entire board.
