Enjoyed? Probably not. But once I learned they were illegals, I would sleep better.

Summarizing the details for those who don't want to read 14 pages

2 vehicles came through a cut section of the border wall. Red Suburban (19 people) , Ford Expedition (25 people).

Surbaban caught fire, all passengers found with no injuries. Expedition crossed in front of empty gravel truck and was broadside on driver side.

Expedition only had driver and front passenger seats, the rest removed.. 13 died either at the site or hospital.

Driver was from Mexicali and not registered owner and was killed in the accident. Ages range from 15 to 53 and were both sexes.

The truck driver was airlifted to hospital with major injuries

The questions regarding the number of people surrounds the issue that it exceeded payload which could make it more difficult to stop and steer. That was confirmed by NTSB.

There's the reason I never supported Trumps wall. A wall ain't stopping anyone, it's only a speed bump. The way to fix illegal immigration is force cities and states to enforce immigration law. Arrest Mayors and Governors for harboring.

I'm not saying don't question those notions.

Gigi posted "they deserve to die, they were here illegally" while posting how Mexicans can't drive. He's a shitbag of a human being and he is showing his true colors.

I am pretty sure we all understand why there were so many in the vehicle, or at least can come up with a why...but that doesn't mean this is a "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" situation. None of us can put ourselves in their shoes prior to the crash. And now they are dead for whatever reason. That sucks.

And I explained the rest of my reasoning.

It's the same with the whole "we need to blame COVID on China" concept. Doing so does absolutely nothing to get us out of our current situation. Mistakes were made somewhere.

Making this into a political football, even here on this forum is dumb. We all know they are likely here in less than legal means and they had more people in the SUV than allowed, but that doesn't make their deaths any less tragic.
