Who’s talking about FSU? Pretty sure they wanted to play. You have to admit this was an easy out for Duke.

coach K never wanted to play. Period. Now he pussed out and season over. Makes sense really because his team never really got going.


I don't think it feels right to anybody. I mean, everyone is concerned.

"We made an assessment. I'm not sure who leads college basketball. It's done by committee. Anything that's led by committee is not agile in handling a situation. There was a consensus. It wasn't like well-planned. Just that we were going to start Nov. 25. That was made without knowing where the vaccine was, how many cases. Basically, it was more a mentality of get as many games in as possible. I would just like for the safety, the mental and physical health of players and staff to assess where we're at."

That's exactly what I said. It was the best case scenario. FSU would have most likely (-4 favorites) beaten Duke anyway.

It was never K's choice just like it was never Hamilton's choice. Being a .500% team or being a Top-5 made no difference. Every team in the NCAA's has had a disruption whether on their end or whomever they were scheduled to play. That would be like me saying FSU never attempted to make up the postponed games therefore Hamilton is a pussy.

Yep, when 1/2 a million people have died due to Covid we should risk sickness and just play basketball. That makes sense.
