I gotta weird feeling the committee puts Loyola Chi in there with Illinois as well. Maybe Missouri too.

*If Cincinnati wins the AAC tournament, they would be placed on the 13 line, Georgetown would the team to move from a 12 down to the 11 line.
*If Loyola(MD) wins the PL tournament, they would be place in a play in game as 16 seed. Colgate would be removed.
*The B1G and A-10 outcomes won't affect seeding/selection. Ohio State is topping out as a 2. I don't see movement in VCU/St. Bonaventure off their seeding lines no matter who wins, both are safely in. Same with Bama/LSU.

That'd make for a great pod with Loyola Chicago/Missouri as the 8/9 in the Illinois pod, but with Missouri/Illinois already playing this year, I think the committee will try to avoid that match up, although, it wouldn't be against protocol if they did.

No doubt. Mizzou got us in their house 3 days after Illinois beat Duke at Duke. Would be a good revenge game. The Loyola game kinda scares me but don’t you think they get a higher seed than a 9? Like 5-6 seed?

They're tough to figure out. They've only beaten one tournament team, and that's assuming Drake get in the field. They don't have a great resume, and typically the committee doesn't reward mid majors that have great metrics(rated highly in KenPom/NET etc..). They would be going against what they have traditionally done in the past, which maybe they'll do in this case. But they've been given ample opportunity to place a team like Loyola higher up in the bracket, and haven't done so. I'd be surprised if they were better than a 7 seed to be honest. The 8/9's are interchangeable, so I could see them being an 8 as well.

I like it. Here are my initial thoughts:

- Absolutely brutal for the MWC if they end up being a one bid league. They are have 3 legit bubble teams and they may all end up on the outside looking in.
- You're a little higher on Wichita State than I am. I think they may be out and if they get in, they will end up in a play in game. I would have been more on board if they didn't lose to Cincy in the semifinals. We will see what happens tonight.

I keep going back and forth on whether I'd rather be the 2 in Baylors region or Gonzagas

Yeah it would be. The bid thieves may end up taking 2 spots from them.

As for Wichita State, I personally wouldn't select them. I'm just trying to mirror what the committee will do. I'd personally take CSU or Utah State.

Baylor's. Would not be surprised if they didn't survive the first weekend.

Baylor.

Pretty dependent on outside shots falling and a good big can beat them.

Doesn't really apply for Gonzaga.

Virginia Tech has been ranked since December 21st, but a #10 seed is the correct seed for them.

#48 on NET, #50 on kenpom

Man ... rough region already for Gonzaga.

REALLY rough...

Wichita State vs Drake for a play in

Hahahaha FUCK YOU Kansas
