CFB Pet Peeves

They changed it but leaving the 15 yard penalty in for a targetting that was overruled after review was awful.

Basically you're telling the team we fucked up but we're still docking you 15 yards.

Makes you really miss Keith Jackson and commentators that actually called games

Constant instant replays and unnecessary “rules analysists” talking for hours is up there with bad commentators imo

dora the explorer U is texas tech. not suer about cross country trucking state...maybe Oklahoma St?

I believe they took that away. If it is overturned, then it isn't a penalty. I think they got rid of that either this past year or the year before.

Yes. Add “rules analysts” as one of my pet peeves. It’s just another guy with the power of hindsight and an opinion. Most diehard fans know the rules, we don’t need another chatterbox droning about them.

Think they changed it this year so that it doesn't carry into the next game, even if it happens in the second half. That's a start.
 
The knee-jerk reaction from most CFB fans/viewers to any sort of low-scoring or lack of offensive scoring.

Whether it's just one team's offense (especially their team's) or a low-scoring game.

Make excuses & blame the offense, the QB, the play calling. Give zero credit to the opposing defense, their coaching.

Alongside that, fans who say the following:

"Your conference scores too much. You don't play defense."

"Your conference doesn't score enough. You can't play offense."
 
When the preseason poll drops and you got the trifecta of Michigan, Notre Dame, and Texas being in the Top Ten.
 
when someone comes out with their preseason rankings and it gets published on the site they work for and everyone wants to call it the sites preseason poll.

one persons opinion is not a poll.

Instead of just falling on a fumble, some fucking idiot on defense that tries to scoop and score, but fails miserably.

The opposing offense then jumps on it. And scores a few plays later.
