I suppose...especially since vaccine rollout in MD has been so slow

yea, got them yesterday. I'm positive.

We can't pin it down on who is patient zero of our group though. I don't think it is me, but I was going into the office and we kind of had an outbreak there...but I wasn't the first to start feelings sick
Jesus, that sucks.

What are your symptoms right now?

slight congestion, a little bit of a chill but not much.

I really don't feel bad.

Mom reached full vaccination status on Wednesday.

I reached 67% immunity.

Will get the rest of my body armor next Wed.
What's 67% immunity??

They said it takes weeks even from shot #2 to get full anti covid powers.

and you're still sticking by your story you got it from work and not your golf outing, or sand volleyball league, or the lip syncing competition the local nursing home held, etc?

I remembered 67% from somewhere it may be even higher. It's been over two weeks since I got my first.

The research, published Thursday in the medical journal The Lancet, followed 7,214 staff members at Israel's Sheba Medical Center, a government-owned facility, who received their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination between Dec. 19 and Jan. 24. Scientists from the medical center found that the vaccine was 85 percent effective at preventing symptomatic Covid-19 within 15 to 28 days after the shot was administered.

Hmm... Golf in the 50's with little wind or 60's with moderate wind?

hard to tell, really.

I think I got it from golf or from hanging out with that group.

my last day at work was last Wednesday and I didn't feel sick until a week later. The first person in my group to be sick was Monday...so I would think he was the first to get it, right?

wasn't from tennis or my volleyball meeting since that was after I had hung out with who I think was patient zero

Nice! I'll be there in the same boat soon.

My in-laws got their second doses earlier this week. MIL has had a lot of fever-related side effects.

My mom got the J&J vaccine. Pops gets his second in 3 weeks. At that point, we'd feel better about doing more with people outside our "bubble".

I'm gonna feel a lot more comfortable about our Easter get together. Daughter also got her second shot a few days ago. She had more side effects than her grandmother (who had zip), which I did not miss the chance to give her shit about.
