Man I was thinking about another DE who was great but only played with average guys and I suddenly thought about the New York Sack Exchange. My front 4 is darn good now, and I would take them in a fist fight against anyone's lol. Gastineau, Klecko, Mean Joe and Holmes? That's 4 bad dudes...

I always forget about Gastineau

When you talk peaks hes up there.

I actually thought of propsing us do a peak draft and i can run the simulation on OOTP for baseball. If i have time i may try run it with the last draft.

Would make us look at players in a one year sense. Kinda different.

I know we talked about this before but we should try this once. Basically like you said, pick player based on their peak....that could be tricky and hard to evaluate so having OOTP predict the outcome seems like the best way to go lol

Man I proposed the same thing for MLB a couple of years ago and no one wanted to do it!
A peak year draft and post that players stats from said year. I think it would bring a lot of new names into a draft. No one wanted to do this one for years either lol, and I think it has been a good one, so maybe that one will gain traction

I know i suggested it before...we also kicked around whatifsports...which Mook had done. But again you have to pick a year. So a guy like Gagne would be way more valuable. (Dont ask me why i thought about him)

I’ve picked Klecko before very under rated DE imo. I’ve read the Munoz comments said he was like trying to block a bull. Would be fun to throw Matuzak in that gist fight. Some of the stories Stabler has told about Matuzak who was his room mate were straight nuts. Guy liked to fight for fun haha

Probably why he was named as a top 5 "bad boy" by SI or whatever...drugs and alcohol probably had a lot to do with it too.

Massive drinking problem his breakfast of choice was triple crown. Flores assigned roommates at one point Stabler was “keeper of the tooz” A lot of the stories are crazy definitely top 5 “bad boy” alcohol and drugs caught him in the end tho. Won a super bowl had an iconic movie role as Sloth in the Goonies. Definitely had a colorful life.
