....specifically recent uniform trends. It started in the last year or two, but I’m seeing lots of powder blue again out there again.

I remember feeling like everyone else when the powder blues went away....good riddance. But, now they are at the point of being nostalgic. I especially like the Phillies powder blues being back, thanks to a combination of nostalgia and being a homer. But, I can respect the Cards being ranked 1 here....that’s not a bad powder blue alternate at all.

Ultimately, nostalgia wears off fast and I can see these going away to a fanfare of “good riddance” very quickly, again. But maybe an idea like the Royals do (just blue on the jersey, white pants) could last a bit. I think those look really good.

Interested what other fans think, especially fans too young to be caught by nostalgia on these powder blues.

I like the powder blue trend and there are a lot of teams that look good in them, Phillies specifically.

I am a big fan of the classic looks for a lot of the MLB teams and the powder blues from the 70s fall right in there. I think there can definitely be too much, but for now I have no problem with it.

White at home. Gray on the road. It is how God intended.

not a fan of powder blue, seems like a 70's thing and that wasnt my time. However, if baseball never goes back to sleeveless jerseys that will be a good thing.

I may be the only guy to like the old "softball team" unis the White Sox used to sport.
The ones with the shorts and butterfly collars?

Bill Veeck was a nut.

Teams my memory recalls wearing a powder blue road uniform at some time:

Braves
Expos
Phillies
Cardinals
Cubs
Brewers
Blue Jays
White Sox
Twins
Royals
Mariners
Rangers

I love the Rays faux back jerseys, but they also pull off the powder blues nicely

I think the Rays were custom made for the powder blues. They just weren’t around in the hey day of the uni.

I like the Jays and Cards all baby blues.

If your look isn’t classic, might as well mess around. Which makes the Cards special, as their home whites are classic. Only a few teams have managed to not mess up their original scheme.

Sleeveless jerseys were my favorite to wear. T-shirt underneath. Best mobility imo.

I don't give a shit what the White Sox wear as long as they stop sucking ass. Bring the stupid ass shorts back if they win in em.

That’s two interesting teams. The Cards have one of the most classic looks, and they don’t mess with it, they just layer the blue in.

The Blue Jays having a classic look at this point can be debated. They haven’t changed their uniforms much over time. But, the powder blue washes out their name, and the use of powder blue on the hat brim is gross.

No, that's why they are fauxbacks...they are fake.

But I think they are genius.

I disagree. The Blue Jays have changed their uniforms and logos a good amount over time.

I love their look now though, they shouldn't change ever again

Well, they’ve changed it a good bit since the mid 90s. But, they’ve settled back to the current uniform, which is pretty close to what they wore mid 70s to mid 90s.

That’s the classic look I was speaking of. And, I agree, they shouldn’t bother changing it again. Make it classic and universal like the Cards, Yanks, Cubs, etc.
