.... But wouldn't it make sense to wait 90 days?

Should I get the COVID-19 vaccine if I have antibodies?
“So, it is recommended for individuals who have had COVID, recovered and they have antibodies, to still go on and get the vaccine,” Dr. Kohli said.
The CDC also addresses this question in a post titled, “I’ve already had COVID, should I still get vaccinated?”
The answer, the CDC writes: “Yes, due to the severe health risks associated with COVID-19 and the fact that reinfection with COVID-19 is possible, you should be vaccinated regardless of whether you already had a COVID-19 infection.”

.... Because the vaccine is supposed to trigger your body to produce antibodies, right? If you already have them, then what's the point of getting the vaccine? Waiting 90 days kicks that can down the road a few months.

Giving blood tomorrow morning, getting the first vaccine shot tomorrow afternoon.
Is it a good idea to get the vax hours after you've depleted your blood supply?

There's direction about not going to get a vaccine within 90 days of getting antibody therapy. I must have conflated that with getting infected, period.

"depleted" is a bit extreme, don't you think?
I'm not interested in a semantical debate.

Let's go with "reduced."

Now answer the question.
