Wake Up Wednesday presented by Axe Body Spray

My wife won't go in the chest freezer in the basement, there's too much stuff in it. Going to make a point to cook my way to more room in the freezer this year.
I was down to almost nothing extra in the pantry before the pandemic, but then it became a crap shoot of when you could find things at the store, so I ended up picking up various things when they were actually in stock. I'm back to working my way through the stuff now that supply chains seem mostly back to normal.

Our freezer is pretty much always full since we get a half a beef at a time. I am trying to work through the last of the venison from Mr. Kobe's deer from a year ago.

it all started because I used the wrong spray cleaner,

WE DON'T NEED THIS MANY CLEANING PRODUCTS
we have about 4 different multi surface cleaners, three things of dishsoap, spray on dish soap for rare time you want to wash one dish (WTF)
I have like 4-5 different types cleaning products under each sink...

An entire closet dedicated to other cleaning (dish soap/laundry/hygiene) products that is completely full...

When I deer hunted on the regular, we nearly ever bought beef. Even 4 small does were enough for a year.

Does any of this affect the appearance of your home?
Depends on level we're talking, but yes, we have a lot of stuff in totes in basement. Our guest closet is full of stuff.

Our house is overall fairly clean, I wouldn't mind it cleaner but it's not bad. I've won battle on keeping amount tchotckes laying around (err mostly)

Last flight I took was either 2009 or 2010

I've got a few things that I've bought and never got around to using, but most of what I have is things we eat on the regular.

The only stuff I have now that I didn't use that much of before is powdered milk. Started using that at the start of the pandemic as a substitute for regular milk in anything we cooked, and we kept using it.

So what's the issue?

People are shocked that redseat isn't Carmen San Diego.

I can eat venison, but I'm not a huge fan. I usually mix the ground venison with ground beef. Plus, my husband's brother is an Angus beef rancher, so I'm not passing up phenomenal beef at a great price.

I don't want all the stuff

I've conceited a lot of battles, but fridge/freezer/pantry drives me insane, we end up wasting a lot of food as it gets lost and when I do monthly fridge clean out I invariable find few science projects

i need to get a freezer for our basement and load up on beef.

she gets it from her mom though, which is pretty evident when we go back. She's not near as bad as her mom, that might be divorce level

Her moms feels throwing anything out or giving it to charity is a sin

My diet has changed so much in the last 5 years it is like I am not the same person. We eat a little beef but most pork or chicken. I love me some chicken based pasta dishes. I'd still rather have a venison pot roast.
