I just deleted that comment, so I could post a new version. Good one too Chi. If you have no issue with something, why mention it? I actually started this thread hoping to catch up with SOME Fannation members. It's been a long time. As you can see no one is interested. So you can rest easy it took me 24 days to realize it's time for me to log off of Hoopla, permanently. This is just another shit storm site full of trolls. That was fun a decade ago, not so much now. I would never take a swipe at at you, Hu! I treat all my friends with kindness and respect, the same way you have always treated me. And I don't have a passive bone in my body, I'm all action all the time! Even in my dreams... I don't play that passive/aggressive garbage and maybe that's @ChiSoxFan reality but it sure as hell isn't mine. SoxFan doesn't speak for me, ever! And that's not 'reading between the lines' either. My needs are being met!

I'm getting a brand spanking shiny new vehicle delivered to my house tomorrow. I haven't driven in 6 or seven years but that will all change tomorrow.

Ever since my wheelchair broke about 15 months ago, my life has continually improved. It was because I was forced to repair my wheelchair myself because the VA was basically shut down except for the most serious care because of covid.

I hadn't been down in my basement in over three years at the time because I was convinced I was too clumsy to handle the stairs. That is no longer the situation. I OWN them stairs now!

Here's the best part of my new vehicle. It isn't costing me a penny! The VA is paying for all of it! It wasn't even my idea! They foisted this shit on me! I asked for a special needs Corvette but those just aren't available for my rank.

So when they say, 'Thank a Veteran', that's all fine and dandy but I say, Thank the Tax Payer! And the VA of course.
