Movie Django Unchained (2012)

As long as you're not in the Delta, it's a nice state. The Delta is terrible.

Which did you not enjoy?
Yeah, originally I thought the Kill Bills weren't that great, but last year I rewatched both of those as well as Django Unchained, and they are all really good lol.

Honestly, I might have to go with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood if I had to pick. I have only seen it once, but I was not impressed. The acting was fantastic, but the movie seemed rather dumb to me.

I have not watched that one, yet.

It's now on my list.

Every minute of that drive made me want to shoot myself in the face.
You'd have been doing humanity a huge favor if you followed through on those desires, Queermosabe.

Remember, it's never too late to make a contribution to society even for a brainless, dickless, worthless shitbum like you :mo:

Fuck, man.

At least be funny.

Tarantino's movies are basically all the same. He shocked Hollywood years ago with blood, not gore or horror set ups, just plain gobs of blood as if Alfred Hitchcock had color film and somehow suckered people into thinking his shtick was new or cutting edge.

If you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Checked it out last night since I got a notice they are removing it from Netflix this month.

A fun movie, but could have been better. Worth a watch, certainly.

*NOTE: Scenery in the last half of the movie - there are no damn hills and small mountains in Greenville, Mississippi. Poor production and editing.
I certainly feel like the first half was damn near perfect, but the second half felt rushed. it seems like it would have been better as a Lonesome Dove type miniseries. Needed about another hour to develop the events that rushed at the end.

I absolutely love Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. I feel like it wasn't the type of movie everyone was expecting going into it. First time I saw it in the theaters I remember thinking a half hour in when something was actually going to happen and where the movie was going. But then you realize it's just a day in the life view in on Brad Pitt and Leo's characters both together and off on their own seperate adventures through the day. Then the full on Tarantino 3rd chapter in the last 40 minutes.

Everything is top quality in the movie. Two greatest actors of the last 25ish years just putting on a clinic with a great script written and directed by a top tier GOAT in Tarantino. Music and cinematography were also just exceptional. I went and saw that movie twice in the theaters which I never do. Also seen it more than a handful of times since it was released on Blu ray. Everytime I watch it I wish there was another 40 minutes or so. There is apparently a 4 hour version sort of directors cut that he talked about at a time of wanting to release one day.

Jackie Brown is great. It just feels like a step lower in production than everything else he has made.

Death Proof is the only bad movie that Tarantino has made.

Leo is great, but Pitt steals the show in my opinion. The best scenes in the movie come from him. But all in all, I thought
the reimagined telling of the manson murders
was just dumb. Funny scenes, but I didn't like that addition. To each their own though, if I had to pick a favorite Tarantino film, it would have to be Inglorious Basterds.
