Thursday Thread For Winners

Oh, yeah, and if that's too spicy for your kids or old lady, double the jalapeno, eliminate the butter and add an Oreo cookie.

Amirite, @Guy Incognito?

I don't think I'd eat any of your penis flavored food...

I've never made anything with acid.
so, you don't fuck with acid, but you have added bath salts, and spice/k2?

cooking with a kick.

well, she's not a coworker, just don't harass her from any of the U's equipment and you should be golden (during hours you're working could be tricky, but I wouldn't worry about it too much).

They're DELICIOUS!

You should get some, and boil them, then fry them with garlic, butter, jalapenos, then wrap them in bacon and fry them again, then dip them in barbeque sauce and mayo. You'll LOVE them! Don't forget the Lowry's seasoning salt for serving!
you don't want to boil and fry, they'll get too limp

also try a beer batter

For the most part, yep. At this point, I don't think I could go back.
Compared to before, I save 1.5 hour every day just by not commuting, which works out to over 2 weeks of my life every year. That's not even taking into account the fact that when it's slow, I can also get chores done around the house during business hours. Sometimes even an errand or two. And the freedom to live wherever I want as long as I have good wifi is huge

The drawback is that sometimes it makes me a little stir-crazy and the lack of human interaction, but that just makes me more eager to get outside and do stuff when work is done. So oddly enough it's kind of a boon to my social life too, cause I'm not coming home in the evening feeling too exhausted to do anything.

Yeah it takes me about 45 minutes in the morning and a hour or slightly more at night. Sucks, so I don't miss that at all!

I know that feeling, you feel like you can get more accomplished outside of work since you are home, like laundry, which I am doing right now.

Certainly a huge drawback is (as you mentioned) not seeing your co workers. I can't really do many more zoom calls
