to be fair, they all suck... but DirectTV is one of the worst. The absolute worst is Comcast.

This just made me call my internet provider and they offered me a five dollar discount. Then they offered me a worse TV package for the same price lol. Other than that it was a very productive conversation.

It's just wild the hoops they go through to get new customers and then screw over the existing ones. Basically if you're doing it right you switch providers every year or two.

Soccer is going to be a little bit different this year, outside of all the 'rona stuff. The club we were with last year couldn't get enough volunteers, and didn't have a season. So we're in the township league. Instead of the coaches running practices for the little kids, the league has someone come in and organize the practices (practice being used loosely, it's really just games that emphasize a specific skill, like playing "freeze tag" to emphasize passing, or sharks and minnows to emphasize ball control). So it looks like I just stand around during the practice period.

Sounds like you're not very good at freeze tag.
