Earthquake Wednesday

It gets cold enough here. Plus, the women folk tend to like it.
my wife loves it. I have the cooled seat turned on all year long.

Ventilated seats is almost always an add-on to already heated seats, so I have to buy one to get the other.

I am doing upgrades to my 2011 Tacoma instead of buying something new.

don't need heated seats though. Not my style.
I didn't think I wanted them, but my car came with them. And now I don't want a car without them. Helps because I don't park in the garage in the winter, so it's always a bit chilly hopping in there in the mornings.

do you have autostart?

RIP @Whiskey

You guys left Whiskey behind before Hammer locked the doors. Some friends you guys are.

Yeah, but I don't want my car sucking up gas in the driveway long enough to get it warm enough to actually heat the seats up. That takes way longer than just warming the air up in the car. I try to keep it down to about 5 minutes before we get in the car.

I bought this truck off the lot, all I was concerned with was 4wd, diesel, ton dually to pull rv.

So the one I liked the color of that I could afford had cloth seats, no frills really. It did have a thing called air level. Air bags under the rear axle that automatically level the truck. I'm thinking that's a waste of money but it was already on the truck I wanted.

Neatest thing ever. I hook up to the fifth wheel, hear a compressor kick on, truck levels itself.

Everytime we hook up to the rv my wife says "Wow that's cool".

a friend of mine had a Grand Cherokee that would do that based on which suspension you picked for it.

I've never not bought off the lot, so any frills I've ever gotten used to are because they were already installed on the car I bought. But heated seats, sun roof, autostart, and rubber mats are probably musts going forward. Mr. Kobe's backup camera with an alarm is pretty nice. But I imagine that might be pretty standard for most vehicles these days.

Backup cameras need to be standard now, starting in...2019 models?
