Thursday thread presented by upper crust level poster...Me

I never did such a thing.

Pnk and kobes and Bender know what I look like and that might be it.
I thought I saw one of you? Dark/black hair, Italian heritage?

Gotta buy beer later.

Got a nice little weekend lined up. Golf tomorrow, then brewery. Golf scramble Saturday, then might stop by my buddy's "soft opening" (they've been open for a while, but this will be the first time nearly all their customers will be able to go into the actual building due to covid) where he said they'll have a keg and plenty of other beers from a brewery in the neighborhood.

Can't imagine.

I know @SlinkyRedfoot has been through it. We lost a pregnancy early on (like never made it to "hear a heartbeat" stage), and went to a support group after. There were people who lost kids within a few days to a month of birth, as well as miscarriages from about 4 months through the day before the baby was due.

That was in the back of my mind the whole time until Tank was born and reported healthy. Also, I think I should have read the Cliffs notes for "A Farewell to Arms" before reading that during the pregnancy with Tank.
That's correct. We actually had a couple of them. Pretty early on though, particularly the first one. Mrs Redfoot and I have been through some particularly difficult times, so I think we were prepared to move through them more easily than others are.

My mom and dad had a stillborn baby and no one realized it until after the delivery. I can't imagine that. But alas, the Lord works in mysterious ways, and had that baby been healthy, I would not exist, and I am the best.
