Seriously. I think I've probably driven less than 500 miles in my car this year. Will be the first car I've paid off before it hit 100K. And it won't even get to 70K.

but you have also been more on public transportation the last few years as well

I was going to be good with paying the car off and staying under 75K thanks to public transit, and that we use the other car as more of the "family" car. When we first got married, we had similar size cars (I had an Elantra, she had a Corolla), so we kinda flip-flopped which car we drove, and both of them were well over 100K miles when we paid them off (and I think both were close to 150K - 200K when we got rid of them). Going to be nice having a paid-off car that I can anticipate keeping around for a good while.

Just passed 10,000 on my truck that I bought 2.5 years ago. Might last a bit longer.
 
Nice bike ride to pick up car. Didn't get nearly as wet as I thought I would. Rain pretty much stopped so that was good
