Happy Friday Hoop Nation

you think @basement bias team is going to have a former star collegiate ball player to anchor it, though?
Nah, we just watch. We played sports and my mother played some college hoops (NAIA) as did my SIL (Community College). I probably could have played something somewhere, but after dislocating my hip in 8th grade football I just played for fun in HS. Honestly put in a half ass effort in HS after that, as my dreams were over. No one was going to take a player with Bo Jackson injury.

I've been to three of them. Honestly, I'd recommend a lot of other places first. Some of those are really expensive.

Then he'll certainly enjoy himself there isn't a bad restaurant in Nashville but many of them are absurdly overpriced.
I went a few years back. I ate very well.

I liked Monells the best.

Ohhhhhh man! Totally forgot about that place! Amazing. I hurt myself there.
Family style with some damn good food...hard to show restraint.

This.

I have said it before but I've found Nashville to be more expensive than many areas on the east and west coast

It's by design. Smart, rich people designed the whole thing. Damn shame what COVID did to Nashville.

Yeah, surveys had Nashville as the most expensive in the nation in terms of both hotels and restaurants, which to me is absolutely absurd but the people lined up to pay it and owners and money-men got rotten, stinkin' rich.

Nashville is one the "it" cities as of late. Tourism is up and the bachelorette crowd has taken over. Nothing wrong with the city embracing that shit, IMO, but it sucks for those who liked it before it got popular.
