It's just another Manic Monday

You seen the price of chocolate covered strawberries? Ask Pnk.
I'd rather pay $50 for a handful of chocolate strawberries and get a mug out of it than pay some skillless broad $2Gs to have a camera and a computer do all of the work for her.

Everything around weddings is a racket.
We knew going into it, that it was going to be overpriced, so we're trying to do things small and cut corners on certain things. But holy hell, some of this crap just cracks me up.

lol. $50

but trying to get in shape just as COVID becomes a thing is like starting to train for a marathon a week before the race.
No it's not.

My SIL does wedding photography as a side hustle. I think he only charges in the neighborhood of a grand, so he can usually get work if he wants it.

Cool.

You gonna learn to roll that bitch?
Not likely, but the beam is much more narrow than the tub from Pelican I currently have, so rolling it is possible.

it's pretty well-known that America is full of fat fat fatties.

but a lot of people put on weight because of the COVID quarantine...and that didn't help either
I know a husband and wife who were really fat pre-COVID and when it hit, they were crazy paranoid. I remember thinking to myself that I couldn't imagine being that afraid of something and not actively taking steps (lose weight, in this case) to protect yourself. Little did I know at the time that they were doing just that. I bet they've lost more than 100 lbs between the two of them.

Pretty cool.

If you're already fat before COVID, saying "I'ma get in shape so I don't get bad aymptoms" is still a good idea, but for most that ship has already sailed.

They've been saying that from the beginning
Yes, I know that they've been saying it gets fat people worse, but it's not very often that you see the figure. Nearly 80% of COVID casualties were overweight. That's staggering.

That's a good story. I am happy to hear it

That's a 1 in 10,000 story though.

It's been nearly 20 months since it started. That's plenty of time.

Yeah, because they not actively pushing the story that it's pretty much only fat people that have a hard time with COVID.

Even if they actively pushed it, it wouldn't change shit.

They have been telling fat people it's unhealthy to be fat and most have done jack shit to correct it.

Fatties gonna fat

Unless you're very comfortable underwater, rolling a kayak can be pretty difficult. I'm talking about comfortable enough to be underwater, upside down, strapped in to something, and still be calm enough to react.

It's been a while since I've tried it, but I used to be able to roll mine one-handed without a paddle.
