Transfer Thread

As you look back now its pretty clear he was leaving in like January or February . I think he will probably play a lot maybe even start. UK could really use a shooter who makes the right play with the ball. They'll have athletes like always but they've been sorely lacking a knock down shooter

Man that sucks if he had one foot out the door in January/February on what was a top 10 team all season. That's an awful look. I don't know what to think as far as playing time. Mintz is still making up his mind, Allen showed some flashes last year and they are bringing in the guy from Davidson. But man Right now they look pretty thin(for normal Kentucky standards). Either way it'll be interesting. I'll be curious to see what Iowa looks like. Any word on Weiskamp yet? If he stays Iowa is probably a safe bet to make the tournament.

No word yet . I think it's 50/50. Next years team will be interesting. Much better athleticism and D. Still some solid shooters . If the kid from UND is solid I think they could be pretty good

so

about a week ago, Maryland announced that they hired Danny Manning as an assistant coach

yesterday Wake's starting C Ody Oguama announced that he's transferring.

Still some pretty good guys remain in the portal:

Remy Martin(Arizona State)
Tre Mitchell(UMass)
Sahvir Wheeler(UGA)
KD Johnson(UGA)
Marcus Bagley(Arizona State)
Quincy Guierrer(Syracuse)
Bryce Hamilton(UNLV)
Jacob Young(Rutgers)
Darryl Morsel(Maryland)
Rockets Watts(Michigan State)
Moussa Cisse(Memphis)

Sahvir Wheeler commits to Kentucky. If my math is correct that's the 4th transfer they've brought in, along with Grady, Frederick and Tschibwe.

Good get for KU if they can reign Martin in a bit. Dude is talented but he can be a real chucker
He’s also going through the draft process, so he may not stay there.

I don't get why guys announce where they'll go if they don't go pro. All he's doing is hurting KU now. I mean why not just quietly tell then you're coming if you don't go pro ? Now they may miss on a guy who plays Martin's position

Avg 4.5 and 3.6 in the Southland. Y'all are fucked now.

Guerrier to Oregon

Nice pick up for Oregon. Must be nice to get quality P5 transfers and not backup C's in a low major league, or 4 guys who were zero star recruits out of high school. FML.

OU guard Alondes Williams to the Deacs

Gophs just picked up a transfer from D3 John Hopkins. If y'all thought you were fucked when we picked up the back up center from Stephen F Austin, now y'all are really fucked. He avg 8.7 ppg last season.

have no idea who this guy is, but with numbers that are this favorable for my favorite team, he has to be legit

also doesn't include Alondes Williams to Wake who is #70 on his list of best transfers. so Deacs have 4 top 100 transfers

ya baby

Minnesota is out of the running for Khadim Sy @ericd7633

Down to Wake, Clemson and ECU

Not sure how good he is, tbh. He sucked last year at Ole Miss, but he put up 9/5.5 on 52% shooting during his sophomore year at Virginia Tech.

He's transferring from a P5 program so that automatically took us out of the running.

He would have probably been our best player, for Wake/Clemson he's a good role player IMO. Especially if he can recreate what he did at VT.
