Anyone here do any collecting......?

Ive collected a ton of stuff begining in 1974 up to 2000 when I got married a 2nd time around and bought a house.....Had more important things to do with my money than spend it on that.....

But recently my wife who works as a clerk for the Post Office, has been saying there is 3-4 guys coming into the po and sending and picking up cards.....

Well 2 months ago after hearing that,I decided to get my collection out and started scanning thru them....

Ive pulled out a couple dozen Kobe Bryant rookies,a Payton rookie amongst a bunch of other stuff....

So I decidef to start a thread tp see what some of you guys have and qould lile to share.....

Heres my first of the bunch......:

Signed by both players plus I have an actual type oof authenticity with a pic of me and both players.....

Anyone interested in sharing what they got.....?

It is packed away but my favorite piece is a World Series program from 1958 autographed by the umpires.

I have a bunch of Magic Johnson stuff - cards, mint magazines, the USA Today when he announced the HIV status, etc.

I don't really collect anything, but I've acquired a few things over time. I've got a ball signed by the 1983 Braves somewhere around here. Notable signatures include Joe Torre, Dale Murphy, Phil Niekro, Bob Horner and Brett Butler. I also have a bat that was supposedly used by Pete Rose, but it hasn't been authenticated, I used to hit golf balls with it as a kid to play fetch with my dog, that fucker would find it every time.

Nice display piece you got going on there.....you put that together yourself.....?

I remember that set,I think Ive got a few of the single cards.....

It's something I ran across when I worked for Coca-Cola. It was a give away, but I got to keep this one because I traded a manager something else for it. @Wood20ks

Im assuming Topps.
Condition....?
Graded......?
Ebay.......?

I buy and sell off Ebay all the time......

I got cards from the 60s and 70s to unload.....If interested.
Topps. Got it from Ebay graded as good. I had that card previously and after moving a few times it disappeared so I wanted to replace it just for old time's sake

Those older cards like that are god to vg shape......There were really nothing to actually help keep those things nice and snug.....
I dont ever remember anu toploaders for sale nor vinyl pages.....

I just stuffed mine all in boxes......

Those 72 cards were colorful and nice looling.....kinda before their time....

Tons, literally, of baseball cards. Mostly from 1989-mid90's. So basically all the worthless years of cards. I have a lot of 1989 Upper Deck baseball sets though, most factory sealed. Probably have 15 of them I picked up about 10 years ago when they were going for $20 a set on eBay.
