Favorite Sandwich/the one you always order

What I'd call a kind of Italian sub.

Cheddar and provolone with everything except mustard and mayo, on a sweet roll.
I take off all the fixin's, heat the bread and melt the cheese, put the fixin's back on, add a bunch of jalapenos, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
I'd kill you for considering that anything close to an Italian anything

The closest you get to an Italian sub is saying provolone

Macados is a Virginia restaurant chain that has some good sandwiches that also allow you to build your own with two meats and cheeses. I typically get pastrami and corned beef on french bread with muenster and provolone, along with some honey mustard. A bag of mini pretzels with more money mustard for dipping and a pickle spear. For some reason that hits the spot and is my go to order there.

A local place to my wife's grandparents house in NJ has the best cheesesteak I've had. While the "name" restaurants in Philly have okay steaks, most of the local hole in the wall places destroy them.

I can't resist a good Cubano when I see it on the menu

You many be the last bastion for the chain.

I loved that place, but never had the money to eat there a lot.
Anyone remember Darryl's? They used to have that strange cracker-like bread they'd bring to you as you looked at the menu. They had good food and cheap, cold beer. My buddy and I ate there a lot when on the expense account.
