So last night I had to let one of my technicians go. He's a big anti-vaxer, which is fine, but our new mandates at work don't line up with his ideologies. Vaccinated persons no longer have to wear a mask. He feels like he shouldn't have to wear one. Sorry bro, but you do. He also believes that the vaccine is a time lapsed death shot and that everyone that has been vaxxed will soon die once "they" turn on the switch. Complete whack job and he used to be somewhat normal. Kicked his ass to the curb this morning, told him his services will no longer be needed.

Suppose to rain tomorrow, but I'm going fishing anyway. Time to try out my new Roboworms and Neg rigs.

I think the idea that people who have not been vaccinated have to wear masks is gayer than soccer.

Plenty of vaccines available. If you're worried about La Rona, go ahead and protect yourself with the vaccination. It's not other people's responsibility to protect you.

Ham's recital went well. One of the positive things to come out of the lockdown stuff is that more stuff got livestreamed, and this recital had a stream. So a lot of people who would not have otherwise been able to see her dance were able to do so.

Speaking of such things, Ohio announced that the mask mandate is up on 6/2. Our school district's year ends on 6/10. I figured they'd say to wear masks for the rest of the year and they'd reevaluate for next year, assuming that there'd be no masks in '21/'22 unless things went sideways.

Nope. They were like, masks can come of on 6/2. I love this place.
