It wasn't the first or last time that kid threw at me or someone else when they weren't looking. His coach kept telling him not to and he still kept doing it. Must not have taken his ADHD meds before the game or something.

He was also "that kid" that would field a grounder and just run to tag the runner out instead of throwing to the base. He was fast and could beat most kids to the closest bag. Not Deuce though....hopefully he learned his lesson trying to beat Deuce to the bag.

Funny you say that because I did hit a few kids last night. I was only pitching to my kids. Got the yips once I hit one kid, so I started pitching underhand. Worked way better for me.

Also....proud mom moment with Deuce last night. 95% of the kids in this league can't even get close to catching a pop up. Not only did Deuce catch 2 pop-ups, one was a running catch in front of him that he caught right at the tip of his shoe. He practices that shit almost every day.
