Celebrities that don't look well

Saw previews of the Friends reunion and jesus christ, time (and hard drugs) did not age Matthew Perry well.

I'll rent from YouTube if I can't find it elsewhere.

We rented Great Escape on Friday. Worth the $4.99.

Fantastic. The Sand Pebbles is my favourite McQueen film but I love The Great Escape too.

Sometimes I rent a movie multiple times and it would have been cheaper to just buy it.
I've done that on Amazon so many times for movies for the kids. I've recently just agreed to fork over the purchase cost now for any movie they watch in the event they want to watch it over and over again. Unless it's a new movie it's usually like $12 on prime video. I must have rented more than the purchase price 4 or 5 times in the past year on various movies during work at home times.

This takes me back to childhood when you could rent video game consoles.

Although really the math was probably pretty similarly bad for renting games too :laugh3:

Those were the days. We used to get the SNES for a week on our birthdays and a bunch of games. Blockbuster video rental, back when you had to rent games to try them because you couldn't just google how good they were on the internet (or look at the Nintendo Mag)

Yep, when I look back on renting games I'm OK with the decisions I made, I don't think I ever rented a game for so long that I "shoulda just bought it". I did have a time when a friend returned a game I had rented to the wrong Blockbuster though, what a pain in the ass that was.

I'm very glad that for the most part my house avoided video games.

All I heard is "my childhood sucked".

No, my childhood was road hockey, tennis, golf, books, etc.

And my son simply could not play the games as they triggered his seizures.

So I don't give a fuck what you "heard".

We were fortunate to have bypassed video games more or less completely/

Couldn't possibly agree more. I'm so, so glad I grew up before the video game bullshit. Instead I was outside all the time and/or reading.

No devices, no fucking video games. No social media or any of that bullshit that screws kids up.

Pappillon is in my top three all-time.
Concur.

And I said in the car movie thread, Bullitt is forgotten aside from the chase.

He was good in it and the movie itself can stand without the car chase.
