Milk

Good power in the lineup against Stokes pitching wins it for me. He also has a slight edge in the pen. Also like his outfield defense.

Milk

I think this one is an easy call. I take Milks lineup, top half of the rotation and his bullpen on this one .

I was real confused by Vlad as lead off, but looking into it he was .379 obp. With his reputation for swinging at everything I always put him at lower than that, he was even a decent runner as well.

i will admit, vlad as a lead off was not part of my plan. It was a mistake in drafting. But there is a misconception about lead off hitters. You should not just start anyone just because he fits the role. You still want your best batters to have more at bats than your lesser batters. And of my elite hitters vlad was the obvious choice. Especially when it balanced my lineup with lefties and righties.

Bullshit! You tear people for OBP you always have now it's okay because Vlad is a good hitter and you want your best hitters hitting most. Moving the goalposts you are!

This strategy is becoming more prevalent with guys like Judge hitting 2nd.

when significant difference. But again who would mine have been?? You had it being chase utley as my lead off before I changed it.

how is it a deflection?? We were talking about my team weren’t we??? Or is there a miscommunication??

So you haven't ripped people who put guys in the leadoff spot that have a less than stellar OBP? This is funny!

I would've put Boggs' .415 career OBP there, especially since lead off is the batting order position he was slotted at most during his career. But that's just my opinion, which really doesn't measure up to anything.

But when did I say here the obp for lead off is not king. I still think it is. My point in my previous post was simply if there is not a clear choice then don’t force it.

again, my 3,4 were both righties. And there is no way I would put anyone from my 5-9 before either.

Let's just chalk this up to your rules don't apply to you! lolzzz

are you just trying to argue today?? or are you serious?? just asking for a friend... because i am really not sure what happened...

i said i made a mistake in drafting from the very beginning...

i will stick with that i made the best possible lineup with my players...

Vlad as a lead off is not ideal, but he did have speed, still got on base with a good OBP... and is one my best offensive batters...

Honestly, I'm less concerned about R-R matchups than L-L. Historically, Righties vs righties isn't an advantage for the pitcher, especially not the way Lefty vs lefty is. I wouldn't be concerned about a 3 righty string in the line up, definitely not the way a lot of people are.

so, a 3/4/5 of Pujols, Rodriguez, Guerrero would've been (vs. righties)

.297.374.538.912
.298.378.553.931
.316.372.546.918

Overall, its a minor thing, and I'm avoiding doing school like I'm supposed to be doing.

Hahaha, fuck you. Your team sucks because red snappers don't use super glue!
