Tuesday - No Sponsorship, Lame Rainy Day

Not only have we yet to hit 90 degrees...the high here today won't hit 70.

As a professional non-worker, I kindly disagree.
As a professional worker, I kindly disagree. I'd most definitely rather be fishing, hiking, volunteering, reading, gardening, and traveling than working.

Coolio? Haven't see him in awhile. For a period of time I was convinced he and Macy Gray were the same person with equally shitty careers

Are Lauren Hill and Macy Gray the same person?

And Eryka Baddu?

I take the same vacation time every year (days not exactly the same) so they know when I am on vacation for the most part
So you are letting a benefit from your employer go almost completely unused? Take a day here and there for yourself.

Though saying, "sorry, I'm using sick time instead of vacation because my lawyer said so" does have a nice ring to it
Wake up some day and just decide you don't want to go in and then call in sick. I'm certain you won't regret it.

I did all that while working and I did all that non-working. Working adds more variety and spice to life. Other than the feels from doing good things, volunteering is working without pay.

I'd do that occasionally when I had sick days

I have serious concerns for anyone that would rather be working than participating in a hobby.

"Want to go fishing/hiking/play with the kids/watch a ballgame?"

"Nah....I don't have any necessary work-related things I need to do, but I think I'll just stay here and work."
