I believe MLB was wrong in moving the game...

But...

Did they have the right, legally? I would think they did not, but I have no idea about the legalities. I assume there are contracts written up when a site is chosen. There are both costs and benefits for the host site that need planning to pull off properly, so having MLB pull out just a few months prior, I would think, is a breach of said contract.

But the fact that it has never been mentioned (that I have seen) tells me that MLB had the legal right to do it.
